Police are continuing to investigate the death of a 38-year-old woman who jumped from a third-floor window of a Flushing building during a police raid on Saturday night.

Members of the Queens North Vice Enforcement Division conducted the operation at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 25 at an apartment located above businesses on 40th Road near Main Street as part of an ongoing investigation.

According to published reports, the woman allegedly offered to perform a sex act on a man in exchange for cash; the man subsequently identified himself as a cop and called for backup.

Reportedly, the woman panicked and jumped out of a third-floor window. Police said that officers stationed outside the building witnessed her fall to the sidewalk, and immediately called for EMS units.

Paramedics found the woman with severe injuries to her head and body and rushed her to NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens hospital, where she died the next day. Her identity was not disclosed, and the Medical Examiner’s office is conducting an autopsy.

The NYPD Force Investigation Division is looking into the incident.
