By Naeisha Rose

A Capital One Bank in Jamaica was robbed of $23 last Thursday afternoon, the NYPD said.

The male suspect waited in line in the bank, located at 146-21 Jamaica Ave., and when he reached the teller, he allegedly slipped the individual a note demanding cash, police said. Then he later made a verbal demand, at which point he received $23 in cash, according to the authorities.

The suspect later fled the scene south on Sutphin Boulevard, but surveillance photos captured images of him on line and entering the store.

According to police, the suspect is a black male approximately 6-feet-4 inches and heavy-set. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, gray shorts with a yellow stripe going down and dark footwear.
