Police are trying to identify a man who punched an off-duty MTA employee in the face at the Union Turnpike-Kew Gardens station on Dec. 3.
The victim, a male MTA employee, 66, bumped into a female passenger at around 9 a.m. on the southbound F train. The woman’s companion, a 28-to 30-year-old man, began to argue with the employee. He punched the victim in the face, police say.
The victim and the pair exited the train and went onto the mezzanine. The assailant punched the victim in the face again. The pair fled the station.
The victim went to Lennox Hill hospital for a fractured nose and lacerated hip.
The assailant is described as Hispanic, with a light complexion and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray hoodie, black coat and a black hat.
The woman is described as Hispanic, 28 to 30-year-old, with a light complexion, brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing a blue hoodie, blue pants, light blue shirt and a black purse.
