Cops have released video footage of a man and woman connected to a recent assault of an MTA employee in Kew Gardens.
At 9 a.m. on Dec. 3, police said, a 66-year-old, off-duty MTA male employee was on a Brooklyn-bound F train when he bumped into a female passenger. An unknown man accompanying the woman then engaged in a verbal dispute with the off-duty employee and punched him in the face.
Law enforcement sources said the employee and the suspects exited the train at the Kew Gardens-Union Turnpike station. When the victim and the suspects reached the mezzanine, the assailant punched the victim in face again.
Both suspects then fled the station to parts unknown. The employee went to Lenox Hill Hospital to be treated for a fractured nose and lacerated lip.
Police described the male suspect as a Hispanic man between 28 and 30 years of age with a light complexion and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, a black coat and a black hat.
The female suspect is described as a Hispanic woman between 28 to 30 years old with a light complexion and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, blue pants, light blue shirt and a black purse.
