Delta Air Lines Regional VP Northeast, Henry Kuykendall was the guest speaker at the oversold JFK Chamber of Commerce Luncheon. Kuykendall thanked the Chamber of Commerce for the opportunity to share the Delta successes and commitment to the aviation and airport communities. He was proud to talk about the new $4 billion investment that Delta is making to the new LaGuardia Airport now under development; thanked JFKIAT for their great partnership; and thanked Delta employees for their loyalty.
Kuykendall feels that loyalty is a two way street as evidenced by Delta’s wage increases over the past five years and the annual profit sharing that the 90 year old company provides.
When he talks about the new terminal at LGA, he is also happy to say that this is good economic news for the Queens communities with new job hires while setting aside the largest dollar amount in history, $1.3 billion, to minority and women owned businesses.
He is also a cheerleader for the boro of Queens. “I want Queens to be a travel destination,” he said. “I want people to plan their trips specifically here, to see what great things Queens has to offer,” he exclaimed.
