Police are investigating the brutal sexual assault of a 52-year-old woman in Kew Gardens Hills this morning.
Police responded to a 911 call about a possible sexual attack near 72nd Road and Kissena Boulevard around 8:33 a.m. today. They discovered the woman lying unconscious at the bottom of an outdoor stairwell.
The victim had sustained injuries to her face and body. She was rushed to an area hospital, where she is in serious condition.
The police have not yet released a description of her attacker.
