Police have released a photo of a man who allegedly hit a 14-year-old boy over the head with an unknown object in downtown Flushing last week.
The suspect assaulted the boy on the corner of 41st Road and Main Street on Oct. 15 at 7 p.m, according to police, and took off in an unknown direction after the attack.
The boy was rushed to an area hospital in stable condition.
Police describe the suspect as Hispanic and about 30 years old. He is about 6 feet tall, with black hair and a stocky build. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, a green jacket with orange lining on the inside, black pants and black shoes.
