A two story house in Rego Park is about to get a whole lot bigger.
Plans have been filed for a “vertical and horizontal extension” of a two-family home located at 99-49 66th Ave. The plans call for the house to be converted into a 7-story, 18-unit building. They also include space for professional offices, which are classified as community facilities.
There would be 9 bicycle parking spots in the cellar and a garage for one vehicle.
The owner of the house, Song Dong, purchased the property in August for $2.65 million.
The property is about six blocks from the 67th Avenue M/R subway station.
