Man Punches 7 Train Rider in Face as it Approaches 90th Street-Elmhurst Station: NYPD

Police are searching for a man who punched a passenger in the face on a 7 train as it pulled into the 90th Street-Elmhurst Avenue station late last month.

The suspect allegedly punched the victim, a 40-year-old man, in the face and head after getting into a dispute on a Manhattan-bound train on Nov. 26 at around 3:50 p.m.

The assailant fled the train after it stopped at the 90th Street station.

The victim suffered multiple injuries including a cut to his left ear as well as swelling and bruising to the face. He was treated at Elmhurst Hospital and has since been released.

Police say the suspect is black and is about 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs about 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black du-rag, a black jacket and black sneakers.
