Police released video yesterday of a woman wanted for attacking another passenger on the E train earlier this year.

On April 15, around 9 a.m., the 53-year-old female victim was attempting to board a southbound E train at the Forest Hills/71 Avenue station when she accidentally bumped into the suspect, who was exiting the train. The suspect, who was with an infant, then got back onto the subway car and punched the victim in the face before fleeing the station in an unknown direction.

The victim, who suffered pain and bruising to her left eye, stayed on the train and later called the police. EMS responded and transported her to NewYork-Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital where she was treated for her injuries.

The suspect is described as light-skinned and approximately 30 years old. She was last seen wearing a white baseball cap, a pink shirt, dark pants, and was pushing a stroller and carrying an infant.

Police released surveillance camera video of the suspect.

Anyone with information in regards to the identity of the suspects is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or submit their tips by logging onto the CrimeStoppers website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com
