Jazz Thursdays/ Forest Hills Chamber of Commerce

Forest Hills residents will be treated to two nights of free jazz this month with the return of the 12th season of Jazz Thursdays.
On Thursday, Aug. 15 and Thursday, Aug. 22, 70th Road between Queens Boulevard and Austin Street will be closed to traffic and open to the public for an outdoor live jazz concert and dance party.
Presented by the Forest Hills Chamber of Commerce, the Jazz Thursdays concerts will feature music by Richard Boulger’s After Hours Band on Aug. 15 and Carl Bartlett Jr. & The Bartlett Contemporaries on Aug. 22. Both concerts begin at 7 p.m.
Seating will be available for those who need it and all restaurants, many which have outdoor seating, and shops along the block will be open.
