A new Queens Spectrum store has opened in Forest Hills on Austin Street.

The shop located at 71-40 Austin St offers customers a storefront to learn more about Spectrum’s video, internet, voice and phone services, as well as a place to make account payments and upgrade or exchange equipment in person.

This Spectrum store is in the space that was previously occupied by retailer New York & Company.

The store is open seven days a week — Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Sunday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.

It features the company’s latest offering Spectrum Mobile, which combines the nation’s largest LTE network and a nationwide network of Spectrum WiFi hotspots all designed to save customers money. The store also has the latest mobile devices and accessories for customers to buy and activate right in the store.

“Our new Spectrum stores provide an updated design and enhancements for showcasing innovation across the full suite of Spectrum services,” said Pattie Eliason, Group Vice President, Spectrum Stores. “Our representatives will show customers the latest advances in technology — including our exciting new Spectrum Mobile options — help them become familiar with using it and put together just the right package of Spectrum services for their home and family.”

Spectrum already has several store locations in Queens including: 28-56 Steinway Street and 31-01 23rd Avenue in Astoria; 23-58A Bell Boulevard in Bayside; 90-15 Queens Boulevard at the Queens Center Mall in Elmhurst; 4024 College Point Boulevard at the Skyview Mall in Flushing; 164-10 Jamaica Avenue and 133-19 Atlantic Avenue in Jamaica.

The company expects to open 10 new stores in New York City this year and next, including one in Glendale.
