Three men antagonized a dog onboard a Queens-bound E train and then attacked its owners who attempted to defend their poor pup Wednesday.

The male and female couple were riding on the E train with their dog at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in Kew Gardens near the Union Turnpike station. Three men aboard the train started to aggravate the dog and a dispute broke out between the men and the couple, police said.

The men pushed and struck the couple about the body and face before jumping off the train at the Sutphin Boulevard station and fleeing, cops said.

The woman suffered pain to her left arm and the man suffered a contusion to the nose and an eye. Both were taken to Long Island Jewish Hillside Medical Center in stable condition. Their dog wasn’t injured, police said.

Anyone with information in regard to the identities of the men is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
