A 33-year-old man jumped to his death from a Long Island City luxury building in an apparent suicide Friday.
Witnesses saw the man jump from a balcony of the 41-story building at 45-45 Center Blvd. on Friday morning and called 911, police said.
Arriving officers found the man lying face-down, unresponsive on the sidewalk below. Shortly after, EMS declared the man deceased around 9 a.m., according to police.
The deceased’s name was not released, pending proper family notification.
The medical examiner is investigating the death.
