Man in critical condition after being shot in head, leg and wrist in Jamaica: NYPD

A man is in critical condition after being shot three times in Jamaica early Friday morning.

On Sept. 11, around 2:25 a.m., an unidentified person shot a 24-year-old man in the head, left wrist and right leg in front of 140-17 Queens Blvd., according to the NYPD. The shooter then fled west on Hillside Avenue in a gray Infinity, police said.

The 24-year-old was taken to Jamaica Hospital in critical condition.

There is no known motivation for the shooting at the moment, according to the authorities.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
