Police looking for a man they suspect broke into a Jamaica Rite Aid store

Police from the 107th Precinct in Fresh Meadows are looking for a man in connection to a burglary at a Jamaica drug store earlier this month.

The incident occurred around 3 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 16, when the suspect entered the front door of a Rite Aid, located at 158-02 Union Tpke., by smashing the glass, police said.

Once inside, the man removed approximately $160 worth of merchandise. The NYPD released a surveillance image of the man who they describe as a 30- to 40-year-old man with a light complexion, a medium build and short dark hair.

He was last seen wearing a dark-colored shirt, black pants, black shoes and dark-colored glasses.

No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
