The “Unapologetically Us” Pride Prom, hosted by Assemblymember Catalina Cruz and Queens Borough President Donovan Richards, returns next week, Wednesday, June 8 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the New York Hall of Science.
The night will feature a live DJ, food, drinks, performances and a photo booth. Teens and young adults ages 14 to 20 are invited to celebrate the event that took a hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Free prom clothing will be available for those who need it, courtesy of AIDS Center of Queens County.
Transportation will be provided to and from the 7 train at 111th St. Station in Corona. There will also be free resources from LGBTQIA+ organizations and free prom clothing courtesy of the Queens County AIDS Center.
