A subway rider was beaten and robbed by two men in broad daylight on Roosevelt Avenue in Corona Monday, Aug. 29.

Police from the 115th Precinct in Jackson Heights are looking for two suspects who allegedly attacked the 29-year-old man as he came out of the 7 train subway station at 103rd Street at around 12:30 p.m.

As he descended the stairs onto Roosevelt Avenue, video surveillance from the Burger King shows the unprovoked assault unfold as the two suspects approached him from behind and punched and kicked him repeatedly in his face and body. The assailants took his cell phone before running off in an unknown direction, police said.

The victim suffered injuries to his face and neck with bruising and swelling, but refused medical attention at the scene.

The NYPD described the two men as having dark complexions with medium bulbs between 25 to 30 years of age. One suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, white sneakers, and a black face mask. His partner wore a blue shirt, black shorts, and white sneakers.
