Police are searching for a suspected burglar was caught on camera as he climbed onto a porch of a 216th Street residence in Queens Village last month.

Police say the crook attempted to ring the doorbell around 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 19 and, when there was no response, he went to the backyard of the home and slipped into the garage. He removed several unknown items, but an NYPD spokeswoman could not provide further detail on the property that was removed.

A concerned neighbor saw the burglar in the garage and attempted to confront him, but the man fled on foot in an unknown direction, police said.

The NYPD released a surveillance video on March 1 that shows the suspect on the porch ringing the buzzer.

He was wearing a black hooded winter jacket, ripped blue jeans, a black Chicago Bulls sweatshirt and a green backpack.
