The Easter Bunny made his annual visit to The Shops at Atlas Park in Glendale this spring season, bringing joy and smiles to children lining up for photos with the famous hare.

With pictures offered by Cherry Hill Programs, the bunny was available at the Glendale shopping center beginning in March. The photo booth not only offered an opportunity for kids to meet a celebrity, but families were able to donate to the charities Autism Speaks and St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

Photographer Cayla Stewart captured the excitement on the children’s faces.

“It’s nice to see the kids so excited to take pictures with the bunny,” Stewart said. “They get a chance to get cute pictures, talk to the bunny, some kids draw pictures for him, it’s really cute. It’s just something nice for families to have during the spring.”

Maggie Galleski was one kid who came bearing gifts. The 7-year-old brought the Easter Bunny a card with “a lot of words,” sending a nice private message.

Her mother, Karen Galleski brought Maggie and her brother, Grant, 7.

“They see the Easter Bunny all around, and they’re happy that they can take a picture with him, they like it,” Galleski said.

In addition to the regular photo booth, Cherry Hill Programs hosted a sensory-friendly bunny event for kids on the spectrum on March 26.

There’s one more day to visit the Easter Bunny at Atlas Park, with Saturday, April 8 being his last visit from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. next to Claire’s at 8040 Cooper Ave.
