Man sought for looting a Bell Boulevard Rite Aid in Bayside on April Fools Day: NYPD

Police from the 111th Precinct in Bayside are looking for a looter who struck at the Rite Aid pharmacy alongside the White Castle on Northern Boulevard on April Fools Day.

The suspect entered the store, located at 43-20 Bell Blvd., on the night of Saturday, April 1, at around 10 p.m. and proceeded to remove numerous over-the-counter medications, police said.

The man exited the Rite Aid and got into a waiting vehicle with a second suspect behind the wheel and drove off in an unknown direction.

The NYPD released surveillance video on Tuesday, April 18, that shows the man entering the store and described him as approximately 23 to 29 years of age with a dark complexion, approximately 6 feet tall, with a medium build.

He wore a black face covering, a dark green hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants and gray sweatpants.

A surveillance camera also captured the suspect as he got into a gray 2023 Kia four-door sedan that was waiting in the narrow parking lot with New Jersey plate Z48RNA.
