Police are searching for the brute who assaulted a man inside of a Maspeth cafe earlier this month.
Authorities say that the male suspect was inside of Shelly’s Cafe, located at 56-34 66th St. in Maspeth, at approximately 6 p.m. on May 9 when he engaged in a verbal dispute with a 29-year-old man about purchasing a drill.
When the man asked the suspect to leave, he was slugged in the head with the bag containing the drill, causing minor injuries, police said. The brute fled the scene to parts unknown and the victim was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst, where he was listed in stable condition.
The 104th Precinct released an image of the suspect on social media on May 14.

There are have been no arrests at this time and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
