Woman sought in Murray Hill jewelry heist that netted around $15K worth of loot: NYPD

Cops are looking for this woman who allegedly robbed a Murray Hill jewelry store and sped off in a gray vehicle to parts unknown.

Police from the 109th Precinct in Flushing are on the lookout for a woman who pulled off a jewelry heist in broad daylight at a Murray Hill store on the morning of Tuesday, Aug. 1.

The suspect entered Rose Jewelry, located at 25-87 Francis Lewis Blvd. just before 11 a.m. and proceeded to remove 23 pieces of jewelry from a counter before running out of the store and jumping into a gray SUV and driving off in an unknown direction, police said.

There were no injuries reported and the value of the stolen jewelry is estimated to be around $15,000.

The NYPD released photos of the grand larceny suspect on Aug. 11. She has a light complexion and dark hair and was last seen wearing a white T-shirt.
