Police seek creep who performed sex act in front of woman on A train in Rockaway Beach: NYPD

Police from the 100th Precinct in Rockaway Beach and Transit District 33 are looking for the creep who allegedly performed a sexual act in front of a female passengers in broad daylight onboard an A train on Thursday, Nov. 2 .

Police say a 19-year-old woman was riding the A train as it approached the Beach 98th Street station just after 4 p.m., when a stranger approached her, allegedly exposed himself and proceeded to perform a sexual act in front of her, police said. The creep got off the train at Beach 98th Street and fled in an unknown direction.

The woman was not injured during the incident, police said.

The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspect as he left the station and described him as having a medium complexion wearing a brown leather jacket, an Oakland A’s baseball cap, blue jeans and black sneakers. He was carrying a black bag.

The 100th Precinct has reported 19 sex crimes so far in 2023, two fewer than the 21 reported at the same point last year, a decrease of 9.5%, according to the most recent CompStat report.
