The Ridgewood Yoga studio making hospitality workers its top priority in spreading wellness, is celebrating its first anniversary this month alongside fellow neighborhood businesses.

Everyone Yoga, located at 922 Onderdonk Ave., is hosting a series of events beginning Thursday, June 20, to highlight their one year in the neighborhood and offer exclusive experiences to patrons.

The Greater Ridgewood Historical Society at The Vander Ende – Onderdonk House welcomes Everyone Yoga in a special Summer Solstice event, starting at 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 20. The historic Ridgewood landmark home, located at 18-20 Flushing Ave., opens its garden at the preamble of summer for an outdoor yoga class led by an Everyone Yoga instructor.

Co-founder and Reiki Master Yoga Teacher Anna Sofia Ibarra said the four-day-long anniversary celebration is one of many ways to highlight the studio and help share the spotlight with neighborhood businesses.

“Our one-year anniversary is not just a celebration of our studio’s journey but also a tribute to the vibrant and diverse Ridgewood community,” Ibarra said. “These collaborations reflect our commitment to fostering connections and creating spaces where people can come together and unwind.”

The Vander Ende – Onderdonk House is offering free tickets to the museum for the first 20 people to sign up for the summer solstice event. The class prices are $25 for early birds and $30 for general admission.

Everyone Yoga continues its celebration with Cholita Coffee Shop, also reaching its anniversary in the neighborhood, starting on Friday, June 21, and ending on Sunday, June 23.

Cholita Coffee Shop, located at 866 Onderdonk Ave., in Ridgewood, will offer a unique Everyone Yoga dedicated coffee brew and an anniversary graphic design by award-winning Mexican design artist Faena.

The Ridgewood coffee shop sits among many in the area but entered the neighborhood to promote South American and Latin X culture. Bryan and Suzette Siranaula, the brother and sister duo behind Cholita Coffee, have already featured several artist works and sponsored events in the shop since it opened last year.

Participants of Everyone Yoga classes will also receive a 50% off coupon for use at Cholita Coffee Shop.

A final nod from the Ridgewood Yoga Studio comes at the reveal of its new mural. Everyone Yoga commissioned “Ridgewood, Queens” to adorn its building wall to symbolize its mission to serve the community and give visitors a space to show their neighborhood pride.

Everyone Yoga invites neighbors from Ridgewood and nearby areas, such as Middle Village, Glendale, Maspeth, Bushwick and Greenpoint, to join in the celebratory events, with tickets for the Summer Solstice event can be purchased here.
