Police from the 102nd Precinct in Richmond Hill are still looking for two gunmen who shot a 32-year-old man last month and stole nearly $70,000 worth of jewelry from his 47-year-old co-worker inside a warehouse before speeding away from the crime scene in a getaway car.

The suspects remain at large more than two weeks after the jewel heist, according to an NYPD spokeswoman.

The armed robbery went down in broad daylight on the afternoon of Friday, June 14, when the two armed robbers walked into the G&C Plumbing and Heating warehouse located at 126-10 89th Ave. at around 1:40 p.m. and pulled out handguns.

One of the robbers fired a shot that struck the 32-year-old man in the left leg while they threatened to shoot the second victim before forcibly removing his pricey jewelry. According to a NYPD spokeswoman, they took his Rolex watch, a necklace, a bracelet and a ring, which had an approximate value of $67,800.

The suspects ran out of the warehouse and sped away in a white Acura TLX northbound toward Jamaica Avenue. EMS responded to the location and rushed the 32-year-old victim to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition.

His accomplice is described as having a dark complexion with dreadlocks. He wore a black hoodie with white lettering, black sweatpants, black sneakers, a blue scarf tied around his head and a blue facemask. He can be seen in the image gripping a back firearm in his right hand.
