“This year’s Howl-o-ween parade and costume contest was a great opportunity to host our local small businesses as pop-ups, to see nearly 150 dogs in amazing costumes, and to enjoy our close-knit community of dog parents,” said Chris Kelly, President of the Forest Park Barking Lot.

Dressed in costumes ranging from classic witches and superheroes to creative, custom-made ensembles, pets and their owners strolled through the area, drawing smiles and cheers from spectators along the route. At 1:30 p.m., prizes were awarded to standout participants, with categories recognizing originality, craftsmanship, and the pet-owner duos that captured the crowd’s hearts. Local businesses also participated in the festivities with pop-up booths, offering treats and pet supplies for attendees.
