Police from the 112th Precinct in Forest Hills are looking for a burglar who groped a 14-year-old girl in her own home on the afternoon of Saturday, Dec. 7.

The victim was entering her residence in the vicinity of 66th Road and Yellowstone Boulevard just before 5 p.m. when a stranger, who appears to be a food delivery worker, followed her inside and grabbed her rear end before running off in an unknown direction, police said on Sunday.

The youngster was not injured during the encounter. The perpetrator took nothing from the girl’s apartment, but under Article 140 of the New York Penal Laws, a burglar “enters or remains unlawfully with intent to commit a crime therein.”

The NYPD released a surveillance image of the suspect on Sunday and described him as having a light complexion, long black hair, and a medium build. He wore a red and gray jacket, blue jeans, and white sneakers, and he was carrying a motorcycle helmet and a gray food delivery backpack.

Anyone with information regarding this investigation is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
