The New York Lottery announced that a top-prize winning ticket for the Jan. 11 TAKE 5 EVENING drawing was sold at Juana Francisca Deli Inc., located at 136-40 Hook Creek Blvd. in Rosedale. The winning ticket is worth $34,430.
TAKE 5 drawings occur twice daily, at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., with winning numbers drawn from a field of one through 39. Winners have up to one year from the date of the drawing to claim their prize.
This win adds to the excitement for the Southeast Queens community, which has seen several notable TAKE 5 wins in recent months. The latest TAKE 5 victory in the borough was seen in Jamaica earlier this month for over $31k.
The New York Lottery, North America’s largest and most profitable lottery, contributed $3.8 billion to benefit public schools in New York State during the fiscal year 2023-2024.
