Police from the 109th Precinct in Flushing are still looking for a slasher who wounded a man during a beef in College Point last month.
The 45-year-old victim was standing across from the Walgreens Pharmacy at 14-01 College Point Blvd. on the night of Friday, May 23, when a stranger approached him and they engaged in a verbal dispute at approximately 7:40 p.m.

The argument escalated into violence when the assailant pulled out a knife and slashed the victim multiple times in his leg, police said Thursday, adding that the perpetrator was last seen running southbound on College Point Boulevard toward 15th Avenue. EMS responded to the crime scene and rushed the victim to New York-Presbyterian Hospital in Flushing, where he was listed in stable condition.
The NYPD released a surveillance image of the suspect on Thursday and described him as having a light complexion with short dark hair who was wearing a blue collared sweatshirt, a blue baseball cap, and light pants.
