A detective investigates the scene of a homicide on Merrick Boulevard and 127th Avenue in South Jamaica early Sunday morning, July 27. The victim, 27-year-old Joscelyn Francis, was shot multiple times and pronounced dead on the scene. An investigation is ongoing.
