Police are looking for a group of individuals connected to the assault of an employee at a Glendale convenience store on Sunday night.

According to police, at 6:40 p.m. on Dec. 9, a 33-year-old man was working at the 7Days Convenience Store, located at 89-44 Metropolitan Ave., when an unknown man and five additional men were in the store causing a disturbance. Initially, the group refused to leave but did leave the location.

When the suspects returned, one man attacked the store employee by swinging his bike at him. The suspect also pulled out a small knife and slashed the victim on his finger.

Officers from the 104th Precinct and EMS units responded to the incident. The victim suffered a small cut to his finger and bruising on his forearm from the bike. He was taken to Jamaica Hospital for treatment.

No arrests have been made at this time. Anyone with information regarding the assault should call the 104th Precinct Detective Squad at 718-386-2723.
