Group of five beats and robs man of $200 in South Ozone Park: NYPD

The police are looking for a group of five men who assaulted and robbed a man in South Ozone Park last month.

On Thursday, July 23, around 9:50 p.m., a 34-year-old man was standing on the corner of 120th Street and 111th Avenue when a group of four unidentified men approached him, according to police.

The men proceeded to beat down the 34-year-old and steal $200 in cash from his wallet before running of in unknown direction, the NYPD said.

The victim was taken to Jamaica Hospital where he was treated for minor injuries.
