An SUV slammed into a South Ozone Park discount store Sunday afternoon, injuring two people, reports said.
The vehicle crashed into the front glass wall of the Deals store about 4:30 p.m. at 109th Avenue and Rockaway Boulevard in Ozone Park, according to WABC and the FDNY.
Two people were hurt and taken to Jamaica Hospital, fire officials said. Their injuries were reportedly minor.
According to CBS New York, the driver, who witnesses said appeared to be a woman in her 40s or 50s, may have confused the accelerator for the brakes. The driver has not been charged.
