Newtown shocks MLK, 2-1, to win PSAL A crown

Newtown senior midfielder Sylvester Godlewski knew of Martin Luther King. He knew of the three straight PSAL crowns, he knew he had lost to the Knights his freshman year in the championship game. It was a team, with all of the talk on and off the field, that almost seemed bigger than life.

But unlike so many who have come and fallen to mighty MLK, Godlewski was not affected by his knowledge of Martin Jacobson
