Judge grants week in multiplex fight

Opponents of the proposed 14-screen muliplex in Springfield Gardens had their first court appearance Monday in U.S. District Court in Brooklyn.

Last week Cynthia Jenkins, along with 12 other plaintiffs, filed a federal lawsuit against developer Bruce Ratner, chief executive officer of Forest City Ratner, and Michael Campbell, president of Regal Cinema, the movie theater company. The suit seeks an injunction against the building
