Barnes & Noble has partnered with The Center for the Women of New York (formerly the Queens Women’s Center) to host a Women’s Book Discussion group. The group, led by CWNY founder Ann Jawin, will meet on Wednesday, June 25, at 8 p.m. at the
“I think this is a marvelous combination, a very strong partnership,” said Jude Saur, the store manager. “I know Ann and our Community Relations Manager, Tony Gangi, have wanted to put together a book discussion group for women for some time now. It should turn out to be a strong and informative event.”
The first meeting will focus on two titles: “Mrs. Dalloway” by Virginia Woolf and “The Hours” by Michael Cunningham. Attendees are encouraged to read either one or both titles to participate in the discussion.
