Pierre Delpeche, 26, of Queens Village was apparently listening to a conversation his girlfriend, Jackie Bellhumeur, 18, was having on her cell phone Sunday night when he heard Furman Walker, 18, of Elmont, L.I., make a comment about wanting to have sex with Bellhumeur and his own girlfriend in what he called a “threesome,” according to police.”(Delpeche) overheard the comment about the threesome,” said Detective Lt. Robert Cuerbo. “He wasn't too happy about it.”Delpeche then demanded his girlfriend call the couple back and tell them she did not want anything to do with them anymore.”(Delpeche) told her to call them back and tell her she did not want to be friends anymore,” said Cuerbo. Cuerbo said Walker and his girlfriend realized their mistake and went to Elmont in an attempt to apologize for the remark. The two couples met up outside the Jerk Hut Express restaurant at 237-13 Linden Blvd. and an argument ensued, police said.”It escalated pretty quickly,” said Cuerbo. According to police, the sexually adventurous couple went into the restaurant after the apology attempt and were followed by Delpeche, who was wielding a large kitchen knife. He then hit Walker's girlfriend with the blunt side of the knife before stabbing Walker in the cheek and below the left ear, police said. Walker and his girlfriend were taken to a local hospital where they were treated for their injuries, according to police. Walker was listed in stable condition while his girlfriend was treated and released.Delpeche, who police said left the Linden Boulevard restaurant in a black car, also suffered injuries during the altercation and went to Jamaica Hospital to be treated. Nassau County police said they learned of his whereabouts and went to the hospital where they arrested him. He has been charged with assault and was arraigned Monday in First District Court in Hempstead, L.I., according to police. Reach reporter Peter A.
