The time for patience has passed, according to residents of Stadium Avenue who say they are sick and tired of being ignored when it comes to continued requests for traffic safety in their community.
Senator Jeff Klein and Councilman James Vacca are stepping up efforts to help residents of Stadium Avenue get the traffic safety devices they have been fighting for for a number of years after a letter written to Senator Klein by Department of Transportation borough commissioner Joseph Palmieri on February 7, once again denied a request for any traffic controls at the intersection of Stadium Avenue and Polo Place.
