Midville Dodgers hold popular winter baseball clinic

The Midville Dodgers Baseball Organization will offer a winter baseball clinic/tryouts this off-season.
The program will be held at Batter Up indoor baseball facility located at 162-26 Cross Bay Boulevard in Howard Beach. The clinics will run for six weeks on Saturdays from January 28, 2006 through March 4, 2006. Each session will run approximately two hours.
The clinic will include live hitting, 50-100 swings per session, pitching off a mound, strength and conditioning programs for position players/pitchers, video analysis, and a player evaluation for each player.
The Midville Dodgers have put together a staff of instructors that include former division I baseball players as well as a former college assistant coach and two current high school coaches.
The cost of the 6-week program is $225 and is available to high school baseball players ages 13-18.

Coaches will also use the clinic as tryouts for the 2006 Midville Dodgers summer teams. The Midville Dodgers baseball organization offers a competitive summer baseball schedule that includes 40 plus games, participation in the Long Island FABL regular season and Perfect Game tournaments, as well as access to one of the best baseball facilities in the New York City area, Juniper Valley Park.
