PSAL CLASS A PLAYOFF SOCCER ROUNDUP: Cardozo Rolls

Cardozo topped Port Richmond, 3-1, behind two goals from Hussein Sayed and one tally by Jeffrey Patino. The Judges, the third seed in the &#8220P” bracket, outshot the Red Raiders, 27-4. Cardozo will meet No. 2 Tilden next. Flushing made an early exit from the playoffs, falling to Lab Museum, 3-1. Zachary Perris notched a hat trick for Lab. Kenny Mena scored the lone goal for the Red Devils, who had reached the semifinals the last three years.
Over in Queens A-West, Newtown lost at home to Stuyvesant, 3-1. Dylan Levy scored twice and Alex Sandler made 10 saves in the win. Fellow Queens-A-East playoff team Newcomers fell to Midwood, 1-0, in Brooklyn. Marcin Kazsa made 11 saves, but was beaten for the lone goal by Ramsay Robert. Christian Franco unleashed a game-high four shots for the Lions
