FDNY OFFERS ‘WOUNDED WARRIORS’ FUN-FILLED TOUR

The Fire Department of New York has once again proved itself to be a unified force endlessly giving back to people and families locally and abroad.

With deep appreciation and respect for members of the armed forces and with memories of September 11 still vivid in their minds, city firefighters raised money to bring a group of wounded veterans from Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C., to tour the Bronx and New York City last week.
