Ridgewood fire under investigation

A fire that broke out in a Ridgewood building Monday evening was under control in less than at hour.
The fire department got a call at 5:01 p.m. about a fire at 1125 Irving Avenue, which is at the corner of Cooper Street. There were 12 units and 65 firefighters who responded to the call.
The fire, which took place on the second and third floors of the building, was under control by 5:49 p.m.
There were no rescues and no injuries during the fire.
Although the fire is currently under investigation, published reports have speculated that the fire may have been ignited by some type of an explosion.
