Responsible Financial Associates

Business is booming for Norman Goldman, the founder of Responsible Financial Associates, Inc. (RFA), who is opening his third location in Long Island City only two years after breaking ground on the first.
The reason for the rapid success is simple and stems from Goldman’s commitment to quality financial advice he feels most people aren’t getting.
“The investor is never favored,” says Goldman.
RFA is not directly associated with any insurance or investment company and is completely independent, allowing it to act as a mortgage provider, an insurance rep and an investment advisor, all at the same time.
This independence allows the company to advise their clients without the often-restricting pressures of trying to meet sales quotas or pledging allegiance to certain corporate entities.
“You have a favorite insurance company… I have 75,” noted Goldman when asked about his approach to dealing with his client’s life and health insurance needs.
Investment portfolios are designed by Goldman himself, who prides himself in his reluctance to adhere to any pre-packaged products, modifying the portfolios for each individual he does business with.
One of the organization’s main priorities is giving their clients the advice they’ve never had the opportunity to, or better yet, never had the time to consider.
According to published reports listed on the company’s website, the next decade could see as much as 40 percent of retirees heading back to the workforce due to poor financial planning during their working years.
Oftentimes, the poor planning is the result of years of procrastination that hits people in ways they never see coming. Goldman’s strategy for remedying this all-too-common problem revolves around a portfolio strategy that encompasses the person’s investment goals and retirement plans into a single program.
As far as the future is concerned, the sky really is the limit for RFA.
According to Goldman, the new office’s goal is to never focus on how much business they can manage to bring in, as long as each and every one of their clients is completely satisfied with the financial help they receive.
RFA’s new office is located in the Clock Tower building at 29-27 41st Avenue in Long Island City. You can reach Goldman directly at 718-937-8080.
