State Senator Frank Padavan joined about two-dozen scouts and leaders of Cub Scout Pack 255 to present each of the children with a “Heritage Award.” The ceremony was held in the cafeteria of I.S. 237 at 46-21 Colden Street in Flushing.
At the presentation, on Friday, June 15, Padavan praised the scouts for their efforts. The Heritage Award is given to children in recognition for actively learning about the heritage and history of the United States.
