Man Shoots Himself In Foot, Is Arrested

A Long Island City man was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment after he shot himself in the foot.
Romono Thomas, 54 shot himself with a 12-gauge shotgun inside his 27th Street home around 3 p.m. on Thursday, September 6. He was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital in Astoria.
Reckless endangerment is a class A misdemeanor punishable by up to a year in jail.
