An independent audit confirmed something our readers already knew - The Queens Courier group of community newspapers are the most widely read in the borough.
Schneps Communications, the publisher of The Queens Courier newspapers, The Courier Sun, The Courier EXTRA, El Correo de Queens, Healthwise Magazine, The North Shore Towers Courier and Queens Business Today, is proud to announce that the company has successfully completed and verified its circulation audit for all of its publications.
Certified Audit of Circulations, Inc. (CAC), which is a not-for-profit organization providing impartial, objective circulation information to the advertising community, conducted this audit.
“This audit differentiates our publications and assures our advertisers that we are the leading group of community newspapers and magazines in the borough of Queens,” said Joshua Schneps, Co-Publisher of The Queens Courier and The Courier Sun. “As the only audited weekly community newspaper group in Queens we provide the business community with confidence in our publications.”
Some of the outstanding findings of the audit included 97.3 percent are regularly receiving The Courier Extra and 70 percent of those readers keep their issue all week until the next issue arrives.
“This audit confirms for our advertisers that our newspapers are widely distributed and read throughout the borough of Queens,” Schneps said.
The use of audit data leads to greater professionalism in the buying and selling of print advertising by providing advertisers, agencies and publishers with third-party quantitative data that they require in making educated media decisions.
“This effort is part of our company goal to be the most visible and recognized local advertising vehicle,” Schneps said.
