Design: Isamu Noguchi and Isamu Kenmochi — The exhibition explores the collaboreation of Noguchi and Kenmochi with a rich selection of some 85 works borrowed from collections in Japan and the US. Art from the Urban Village: An Exhibition of Kew Gardens Artists — A unique group of local artists have come together to collaborate on a project to design and create a mural for the Kew Gardens Cinemas Park, scheduled to be unveiled this summer.

Illuminations: Paintings by Iris — Iris exhibits her latest body of work illuminating a visual exploration of internal and atmospheric landscapes. She explores the outer edges of inner space, for which painting becomes a manifestation of life itself.

This Case of Conscience: Spiritual Flushing and the Remonstrance — The exhibit explores the continued relevance of the historic document that is considered to be the precursor of the Bill of Rights within the vibrant and diverse neighborhood of Flushing. Encaustic Technique — Instructed by Fawn Potash. Originally developed by the early Greek as a painting medium for funeral portraits and decorative boat finishes, encaustics are enjoying a revival in contemporary art. This 8-week class will cover safety, surveys of historic and contemporary encaustic use, basic technique, 2D and 3D applications, transfers, layering, collage, dipping and presentation ideas.
