Bayside Jewish Center, 203-05 32nd Avenue in Bayside is having an Open House on Sunday, September 7, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Meet Rabbi Moses Kirsch. They are offering an affordable membership plan. High Holy Day tickets included at no extra cost. Family (two persons) $500 receive two tickets; Single (one person) $250 receives one ticket. No assessments; no building fund; no hidden charges. Temple L’Chiam and its “Synagogue Without Walls” will conduct High Holy Day service by Rabbi Charles Agin, a cantor and accompaniment on Monday, September 29 at 8:15 p.m. and Tuesday, September 30 at 10:15 a.m., Wednesday, October 8 at 8:15 p.m. and Thursday October 9 starting at 10:15 a.m. and continuing throughout the day at The Adria Conference Center, 220-33 Northern Boulevard in Bayside. OAKLAND GARDENS
The Jewish Center of Oak Hills, 50-35 Cloverdale Boulevard welcomes in the New Year of 5769 with full services in its beautiful, air-conditioned Sanctuary. Selichot services led and chanted by Rabbi Jeffrey Rappoport start at 10 p.m. on Saturday, September 20, at no charge. Rosh Hashanah begins on the evening of Monday, September 29.
