WAR ON GRAFFITI

We have nothing but praise for our area politicians and their hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves efforts to take back our borough from the criminals and vandals who ruin our neighborhoods with their vile tags and gang messages.
Politicians like Senators John Sabini and Serphin Maltese, Assemblymember Rory Lancman and City Councilmembers James Gennaro and Anthony Como, to mention a few of the very active, organize cleanups and provide the funds for community groups to accomplish this enormous task.
They need your help too. Reach out to these elected officials and volunteer to help with a cleanup. Contact local community groups, like G-COP or your local precinct’s graffiti officer - every precinct has one, and roll up your sleeves too. You can do it!
